Cliff Lake Ride

THERE IS CONSTRUCTION ON HIGHWAY 93 IN FRONT OF THE RANCH. PLEASE ALLOW AN ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES TO ARRIVE ON TIME!

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Guests will travel from Bar W to the trailhead by vehicle, typically just a quick 15-minute drive. Upon arrival, you’ll mount up and spend approximately two hours in the saddle, exploring the stunning Montana landscape.

The Cliff Lake Ride takes you through lush, forested areas, winding past serene meadows —one with a quaint pond and the other featuring the picturesque Cliff Lake. Along the way, you’ll navigate a variety of terrains, from wide logging roads to narrow mountain trails, culminating in a rewarding climb to a scenic viewpoint.

Cliff Lake Ride Rates

When & Where:

• Mondays (only) at 8:30am and 1:30pm
• Located at Bar W Guest Ranch, please check-in up front at the Hitching Post
• Bar W will shuttle guests to Cliff Lake site (15 minute drive)

Pricing:

• $195 per person
• Additional fees: $19.50 DNRC Permit Fee + 3.5% credit card processing fee
• Gratuity not included

Important Info:

• Ages 13+, Ages 13-15 require a participating parent
• Up to 6 guests per ride/trip
• Weight limit for riding is 225 pounds
• 2 hours in the saddle
• Entire adventure will take about 3 hours long
