Kid's Program
We love when we hear “better than Disney!”
The Kids’ Program is incredibly important to the owners of Bar W Guest Ranch, and each year they strive to make it even better. This year, a dedicated Kids Program Coordinator is in charge of developing an exceptional program, providing a top-notch experience for young guests. With caring Kids’ Program counselors, exciting daily activities, and both indoor and outdoor play spaces, children will have endless opportunities for adventure and fun. We absolutely love welcoming families to the ranch and are committed to making every child’s stay an unforgettable vacation experience.
Cowpokes (2 - 6)
The Cowpoke program is for our “littles" ages 2-6 years old. Our staff has so much fun with these little cowboys and cowgirls! The Cowpoke program includes; painting horses, games, arts & crafts and wrangler led rides in the corral daily. They will sleep very well!
Pricing: $1,500 per child.
Outlaws (7 - 12)
The Outlaws are the 7-12 year olds. They are old enough to ride horses out on the trails, but not old enough to participate with the adults. Enjoying their own equine and ranch activities will make them feel special and bond with each other. The Outlaw program includes; trail rides, archery, arts & crafts, fishing, arrow tag, practice shooting BB guns, and go on hikes.
There will be a Family Ride each Thursday to give the Outlaws an opportunity to ride with their parents and older siblings.
Pricing: $2,560 per child.
Kids Rodeo
Every Thursday, during our Family Weeks, both the Cowpokes and Outlaws will participate in the Family Rodeo! They will perform barrel racing, pole bending, and play some games with their parents. This is one of the best parts of the week for the kids, the parents, and the staff!! It is like the ranch comes to a stop to attend the rodeo. Each child gets an ice cream at the end of the rodeo for a job well done!
Teenagers
Teenagers are included in our adult riding packages, so they will ride any trails or participate in any of the ranch activities that the adults do during the day. But in the evening, when the adults are participating in wine and whiskey tastings, we will have activities just for the teens…things like arrow tag, lawn game competitions, and maybe some good ol’ Capture the Flag or Kick the Can!
Babysitting
Babysitting is available for those little ones under 2 years of age at a rate of $55/hour. Our resources are limited, so please let us know prior to your arrival if you plan to utilize this service.
