Grooming and Tacking Clinic
Learn the essentials of horse care as our wranglers demonstrate how to saddle and unsaddle a horse, explain common horse and saddle terminology, as well as hands-on grooming and care. You’ll have the chance to bond with your horse through brushing, saddling and plenty of affection. If you pass this clinic, you will be able to unsaddle your horse after riding.
Horse Connection
Discover how to build trust and understanding with a horse through guided movement and interaction exercises. Wranglers will demonstrate how to approach, connect and communicate effectively to strengthen your partnership.
Wagon Ride
On Monday evenings, we’ll take a relaxing horse-drawn wagon tour of the ranch, pulled by one of our magnificent draft horse teams. Each wagon accommodates about 20 adults. If both wagons fill up, our teamsters will gladly make a second trip to ensure everyone enjoys the ride!
Hatchet Throwing, Roping, and Fly-Casting Lesson
Try your hand at classic Western skills! Learn basic roping techniques, practice fly cast for fly fishing and throw hatchets at our target!
3D Archery
Explore through the woods while shooting at life-size 3D animal targets. This immersive archery experience allows guests to test their accuracy while enjoying the forest setting.
Skeet Shooting
Guests take aim at moving clay targets in this shooting activity. Compete with yourself or challenge friends while honing your shooting skills.
Goat Yoga
Start your morning with a relaxing stretch alongside adorable Nigerian Dwarf goats. A lighthearted and joyful experience for all ages.
Hat Decorating and Candle Making
Get creative and make your hat truly stand out by adding fun decorations and personal touches. Guests will also craft their own personalized candle to take home as a keepsake.
West Glacier/Polebridge Scenic Tour
Discover the west side of Glacier National Park and Polebridge. Stops at the legendary Polebridge Mercantile for their famous huckleberry bear claws and Glacier National Park's Apgar Village.

Family Friendly Hike at Lion Mountain
A short trip from the ranch leads to this 2.5-mile hike suitable for all ages. Enjoy a rewarding overlook of Skyles Lake while exploring the surrounding scenery.
Experienced Hike at Beaver Lake
Located about 30 minutes from the ranch, this 4-mile hike includes roughly 500 feet of elevation gain. The trail passes 3 small lakes and leads to a stunning overlook of Whitefish Lake. Best suited for experienced hikers.
Whitefish Lake Kayak or Paddle Board
Explore the clear waters of Whitefish Lake with kayaks or paddleboards provided by Whitefish Outfitters. Guests are transported to Whitefish Lake Beach to enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the water.
Whitefish E-Bikes
Guests are shuttled to downtown Whitefish to pick up an electric bike from Whitefish Outfitters. Explore the town and surrounding paths at your own pace with ease and comfort during this ½ day adventure. If interested in a guided tour, please reference our additional tours.
